City and Lakes Real Estate is a local brokerage built around a simple idea: when our agents do well, the brokerage does well. You get a fair split, no desk fees, and a broker who answers the phone when you have a question.
The Northwest Metro is growing, from Rogers and Maple Grove out to Buffalo and Monticello. There’s business here, and we want to help you build yours.
The Numbers That Matter
Example: an agent who closes $3 million in sales at a 2.5% commission earns $75,000 before splits. At a 70/30 brokerage with a $500 monthly desk fee, they keep about $46,500. At City and Lakes, they keep $60,000. That’s $13,500 more in one year.
You Keep 80%
On every transaction, 80% of the commission is yours. No caps and no tiers.
Desk Fees
No monthly desk fees. We don’t charge you to show up and work.
Paid by the Brokerage
Errors and omissions insurance is on us. That’s one less bill coming out of your income.

We’re a small, growing team, and we want agents who fit. That usually means you:
- Are licensed in Minnesota, or working toward it
